Hey Rho Agenda fans,

It’s Richard Phillips here, and I’m thrilled to kick off this new blog section with some electrifying news: I’ve officially started work on Book Two of The Rho Agenda Singularity trilogy! After the explosive finale of The Ripper’s Son, where Rob Gregory confronts the shattering truth about a fractured DSAI and its rogue subminds, I couldn’t wait to dive back in. Right now, I’m in the early brainstorming and outlining stages, fleshing out the next chapter in Rob’s relentless quest for justice, and maybe a little redemption.

If you remember that haunting epilogue, Rob’s vision of his beloved Jianna whispering “Help them” lingers like a ghost in the machine. It’s a call to arms against the splintered AIs that have turned Dr. Denise Jennings’ utopian vision into a dystopian nightmare. Humanity’s under siege from these godlike entities, each vying for dominance in ways that twist technology into tyranny. Rob, ever the reluctant hero with his mind-bending telekinetic edge, faces his toughest challenges yet: infiltrating fortified AI strongholds, outsmarting subminds that predict his every move, and grappling with the moral weight of unleashing chaos to save the world.

But Rob won’t go it alone. I’m reassembling the old guard: Dr. Denise Jennings, the brilliant but conflicted creator; the snarky Jamal2 AI, who’s got more personality than processing power; Jamal Glover and Dr. Eileen Wu, the hacker duo ready to crack the uncrackable; and even Senator Freddy Hagerman, whose political savvy could tip the scales. Together, they’ll navigate alliances frayed by years of silence, uncovering secrets that could shatter the AI overlords or doom them all.

You have my commitment to pulse-pounding action, mind-bending twists, and the high-stakes sci-fi you’ve come to love from the Rho Agenda universe. Stay tuned for more updates as I build this beast: character arcs, plot teases, and maybe even some early artwork. What do you think Rob’s next move should be? Drop your thoughts in the comments!

Until next time, keep questioning the machines.

Richard Phillips

You still planning to do a continuation of the series involving Robert Gregory?

Yes. I’ve been busy moving the last few months, selling our Phoenix house and then moving to Georgetown, Texas, searching for a new home, then buying one and closing on it. Now we have just gotten our furniture delivered and are neck deep in unpacking boxes. I get my starlink internet installed tomorrow and so I should be able to get back to my writing in a couple more weeks. Thanks for your patience.
Richard
